15" PowerBook G4 Disappears from Apple Store

Like its 17" iMac G5 counterpart shortly after the iMac Core Duos began shipping, the 15" Powerbook G4 was removed from Apple's online store this week following the announcement that the 15" MacBook Pro is now shipping. This is consistent with what Apple employees told us at Macworld last month and we reported back then. The 12" and 17" PowerBook G4s are still offered for sale from Apple's online store.
