Apple's AirPort to Fly Higher

WiFi (802.11b) wireless networking made popular by Apple's AirPort is going to get faster according to this Yahoo News article. U.S. Robotics has developed hardware with Texas Instrument chips that is touted as doubling the 802.11b speed to 22 mb/sec. The USR equipment will be out in June. [Dana Baggett]
