Dual GHz Power Mac G4 on Tuesday?

Both MacUser and MacMinute claim to have confirmed that Apple will release a dual GHz Power Mac G4 on Tuesday. We are sure that all Power Mac G4 users, especially those who really NEED speed, were disappointed that a speed bump was not announced last week at MacWorld SF. Phil Schiller, Apple's VP for Worldwide Marketing, and Steve Jobs didn't even team up for their usual Wintel blow away using Photoshop. Perhaps either they thought that we had tired of the comparo (Not me!) or a Wintel now wins or they had something else up their sleeve for a little later. We hope it is the latter as we noted in our Macworld coverage.
