Information for Palm OS Device Users
iSync relies on HotSync to synchronize information on your Palm. Please read "Setting up to sync your Palm OS device" in the iSync help for detailed instructions on how to setup iSync to sync with your Palm.
In order to sync a Palm OS device with iSync, you will need to continue to use the HotSync button on your cradle (or initiate the sync from the HotSync application on your device). You will not be able to initiate a Palm sync with the Synchronize button in the iSync UI.
The iSync Palm conduit does not synchronize Notes or Memo data.
When you perform a synchronization, events created on a Palm OS device will appear in iCal in a newly created calendar called “Unfiled.” In the final version of iSync, this behavior will change to be similar to phone synchronization.
The Mac OS X Address Book does not display Palm Addresses category information.
iCal does not associate To Do categories with a calendar in iCal.
