Maine Agrees on Budget, iBooks are In
According to this Sun Journal article, the Governor has reached a deal with the legislature that leaves the first $25 million for the iBooks in the budget. Apple has a $37 million contract with Maine to purchase 33,000+ iBooks for all students and teachers in the 7th and 8th grades plus wireless networking, training and support. [Dana Baggett]
