Apple Posted Purpose of Security Update 2006-002 v1.1

Yesterday we noted that Apple had re-issued Security Update 2006-002 as v1.1. Late yesterday, Apple posted this Web page that explained that v1.1 fixes a problem with Safari created if Safari had been moved from the Applications folder prior to running v1.0. If one did this, Safari would get a generic icon and malfunction. v1.1 should be applied after deleting the malfunctioning Safari icon to fix Safari. [Bill Fox]
