Office v2.0

by Thinkfree is full service office productivity software suite written in Java. It is very similar to Microsoft Office v.X but only costs a mere $49.95, one-tenth of MS Office v.X. It runs in Mac OS X and Mac OS 9 but excels in OS X. It imports and exports Word, Excel and PowerPoint files with alacrity. One unique feature is its CyberDrive which is like an iDisk. We found it to be very stable in a short period of use. We have a review copy and will be posting a full Hands-On Review in the near future. This may be the AppleOffice we've been looking for!
