Open Source Software a Security Risk

according to a study that will surface shortly, says this ZDNet article. We wonder if Microsoft funded it. While it is probably theoretically true, in practice M$ Swiss cheese software is proprietary and seeming has more security problems than any other, partly due to its monopoly position. The USG may have to use its own proprietary software to get the necessary level of security. M$ sure can't provide it. Maybe Apple can? [Dana Baggett]
