OWC Bundles Intech SpeedTools 3.5 with its FireWire Drives

From OWC, "Other World Computing (OWC) announced that beginning immediately all OWC Mercury FireWire drives will ship with a free copy of Intech's Hard Drive SpeedTools 3.5, the best performing hard drive management utility available for Macintosh computers."

"The software accelerates OWC's Mercury FireWire drives' performance drives by as much as 20 percent compared to other drive management software programs, such as Apple's stock utility. With SpeedTools, several of OWC's Mercury FireWire models are now able to provide sustained data transfer rates of more than 40 Megabytes per second. SpeedTools is compatible with Mac OS 7.0 through 9.2.x. SpeedTools version 3.5 also introduces two new utilities, Integrity X and QuickBench X, which are designed exclusively for Mac OS X."
