appears on Accelerate Your Mac. ATI will ship the retail 8500 in mid to late February. It appears to be quite a card except for there being no ADC port for those of us with a recent Apple LCD Studio Display--at $149 the Dr. Boot DVIator is a solution that works according to ATI.
