Some previous reviewers have remarked that the wireless AirPort Extreme network connection of the G5 is very poor. Our experience with the D-2 G5 is just the opposite. It gets a solid four arcs on the AirPort menu icon about 15 feet from the AirPort Extreme base station in another room. There are three possibilities for the poor reception noted in other reviews: defective AirPort hardware, failure to install the G5's external AirPort antenna or failure to solidly connect the internal AirPort antenna wire to the AirPort Extreme card.
