Apple Keynote 1.1 Update is Out

and available for download via the Software Update preference panel and from this Apple web page. Keynote 1.1, Apple's presentation application, contains a number of improvements. According to Apple, all Keynote users should upgrade to this version. The update includes:

• Ability to jump to specific slide during slideshow
  
• Preference to reduce image resolution on insert to fit images on slide
  
• Option to show series label on X-axis of charts
  
• New 3D transition preference
  
• Improved interaction and feedback while working with slides in the navigator view
  
• Improved PowerPoint import and export compatibility
  
• Reduced size of PDF export files
  
• Improved QuickTime playback during slideshow
  
• Improved QuickTime export
  

We updated our Keynote application with no problems. We immediately tried exporting several presentations to PowerPoint that for some reason could not be so exported before the update. All exported just fine.
