At Macworld Expo NYC 2002 in July, ATI representatives told us that their super duper Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card for the Mac should be ready by this show. Indeed, it was running on Macs at both ATI's booth and Aspyr's booth in the game area. ATI representatives mentioned that they hope to get it out before the end of this quarter but that it will take an improvement in OS X's OpenGL drivers beyond those that came with OS X 10.2.3.
