Apple took a risk in striking early, before the new faster 802.11g wireless network standards were complete, by releasing AirPort Extreme based on Broadcom's 802.11g chip set. Well, according to the article, Dell will now also install Broadcom's chip set for 802.11g wireless networks in their computers. [Dana Baggett]
