From the Dark Side--Napster Revived by Roxio

according to this ABC News article. Roxio, the CD burning software company, owns the remains of Napster and just bought controlling interest in pressplay from the Sony and Universal partnership. Roxio plans a pay-as-you-go music service for Windows patterned after Apple's iTunes Music Store to be called Napster. It is not clear if they have any deals with music companies yet but Sony and Universal seem like a sure thing. [Dana Baggett]
