Apple Created Separate Mac and iPod Divisions
according to this Reuters article. Jon Rubenstein who headed Apple's hardware engineering will lead the new iPod Division and Tim Cook who headed Apple's worldwide sales and operations will lead the new Mac division. Tim Bucher will head up Mac hardware enginering.
The announcement was made via an email from Steve Jobs. There was no Apple press release as of publication time.
