New 12" PowerBook G4 Runs Too Hot?

Maybe not. PowerBooks have run "hot" at least since the 2400c, some hotter than others. The main complaint about the new 12" PowerBook G4 is that its left wrist rest gets (choose your descriptor) hot. Our experience is that the area get warm but not hot. PowerPage points to two Japanese web sites that have actually measured the wrist rest's temperature and that of other locations on the 'Book. The hottest left wrist rest measurement is 35.9 deg C which is less than normal body temperature at 37 deg C.
