...correspond to the creation of 1.5 million new hi-tech jobs, add $400 billion to the global economy and generate $64 billion in tax revenues across the globe.

That's a big "if" as this Reuters piece points out. The internet is perceived as part of the problem. The Alliance hopes the report will kick-start governments to adopt legislation. Steve Jobs has previously stated that piracy is a behavior problem. [Dana Baggett]
