PocketMac Backup, Backup Your Pocket PC to Your Mac

with this new application, PocketMac Backup, from Information Appliance Associates. They announced the release of PocketMac(TM) Backup, the first solution to allow the backup of Mac users' crucial Pocket PC information to their Macs.

"This is it...what our customers have been asking for," said Terence Goggin, CTO of Information Appliance Associates. "We kept hearing horror stories about Pocket PCs' batteries dying and all of their data being lost. That's why we created PocketMac(TM) Backup."

While most sync software will copy and keep up-to-date users' data files such as Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, E-Mail and more, there is still a lot of information that doesn't get synched. Examples of these files are applications, system files, registry data, drivers, and more.
