Symantec Drops Stand-alone Norton Utilities for PC but not Mac

PC World reported that Symantec has stopped shipping the stand-alone version of Norton Utilities for PCs, bundling it instead with SystemWorks. However, reportedly that doesn't apply to Mac users as explained here. While PC owners have to buy SystemWorks to get a new version of Norton Utilities, Apple fans can still buy the stand-alone version for the foreseeable future. [Dana Baggett]
