Unreal Tournament 2003 Updater 2225.1 is Out

and available via MacUpdate.com.

Version 2225.1 contains several improvements to the initial retail release of the game, most notably, it’s much faster.

Epic programmer Ryan Gordon has been hard at work adding lots of Altivec code and rewriting the entire sound subsystem. The result, performance improvements of 25% or more over the original retail version are typical, with some single CPU systems achieving an even more noticeable gain.
