Apple Announced the Apple Workgroup Cluster for Bioinformatics Award Program
Through a formal call for applications, Apple will award five fully provisioned, all-inclusive Apple Workgroup Clusters to four higher education researchers and one non-education researcher. Apple and a panel of independent scientists will choose the five best applications, and award recipients will be announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference on June 29, 2004. Over $200,000 in cluster hardware and software will be awarded during this program.
