Apple Top Rated in June Consumer Reports Evaluation of Desktops, Laptops and Displays.

The desktop evaluated was a 1.25-GHz 17" iMac G4, the laptop was a 1-GHz 15" PowerBook G4 and the display was a 17" Apple LCD Studio Display. Apple won the reliability and support categories hands down for both desktops and laptops. The PowerBook scored very well in comparison with the Wintels despite being two generations old. The Apple 17" Studio Display was rated the best. [Bob Unger]
