Business Card Composer v2.2 is Out, Responds to AOL's Trademark Claim

BeLight Software has announced an update of Business Card Composer, version 2.2. The application is a native Mac OS X software for creation and printing business cards. Current users can get the update for free.

This update features Japanese localization and a number of functionality improvements and fixes. The Japanese version became possible due to our long-term partnership with Act2--the Japanese distributor of Business Card Composer. This version of Business Card Composer also adds:

- Support of new Avery business card paper formats.
- A new command Align Centers was added to align objects to their centers.
- Insertion of large images was improved.
- A few of minor improvements and various bugs fixed.

Additionally, this update responds to a legal issue. Due to AOL's trademark claim, BeLight decided to change the application icon and redesign some promotional artwork. BeLight Software was surprised to hear the claims of AOL that Business Card Composer's icon looked very similar to the AOL's Running Man logo (the yellow man on the iChat icon). Judge for yourself:

Old New

We have favorably reviewed Business Card Composer.
