iBook Extension to High Schools Not in Maine Supplemental Budget
according to this Portland Press Herald article. The spending bill has been sent to the Governor for signature. Gov. Baldacci proposed extending the highly successful iBook program from 7th and 8th grade to 9th grade using left over capital improvement funds but is expected to sign the bill and look for some other way to extend the program.
