More to the point I think that creativity starts to get lost as cost for the projects go up. When a company is going to be spending millions to make and market a game, with a staff of 40+ people, then one of the biggest risks is to not know exactly what it is that you are making and how it will come together. This is probably going to mean that some people will routinely end up with the labor work of making objects, building vehicles, and other similar tasks.
