Maine Gov. Baldacci Refuses to Concede Defeat on iBook Program Extension

While the Maine Legislature failed to include funding to expand the state's iBook program from 7th and 8th grade to 9th grade, Gov. Baldacci is reviewing options developed with Apple Computer according to this Maine Today article. Despite the positive testimony from numerous students, teachers and parents, the Maine Legislature had other ideas for that money. [Dana Baggett]
