Mozilla to Fix Major Security Bugs in a Week

There are serious bugs in the way that the Mozilla web site authenticates web sites with security certificates that dates back to the parent Netscape web browser code. One bug allows a malicious Web site to trick a visitor into believing that the web site is a trusted site, like a bank web site, and then to gather damaging personal information in the process.
