National Do Not Email Registry is a Fraud

but it looks very similar to the Federal Trade Commission's "National Do Not Call Registry" web site for telemarketer control. However, the latter uses a secure server (https://) and has a .gov domain. The warning was posted in this Reuters article on Yahoo News. The FTC does not have such an email registry although Congress has asked the FTC to look into the possiblity of setting one up. [Dana Baggett]
