QuickTek Released 8-DBi Directional WiFi Antenna for TiBook

The AirPort range of Apple Titanium PowerBook G4s can be increased three-fold with their new WiFi antenna according to a note from QuickerTek.

"Customers who bought our other wireless antenna products have been thrilled with the performance improvements," said Rick Estes, president, QuickerTek. "We have had a growing list of customers who have requested increased wireless performance from their Titanium PowerBooks. So, this is the perfect product for those installations where only a directional antenna can optimize wireless performance," Estes continued.

The antenna connects to an installed AirPort card through the PCMCIA card slot in the TiBook. It costs $55.
