User Satisfaction of Web Surfers Improving

according to this PC World article. A recent survey indicates that 2 of 3 surfers (66 per cent) are satisfied with their experience. This is up from 40 per cent in 1997 from a similar survey. [Dana Baggett]

[Update 6a] Apple iBook G4 Graphics Update 1.0 is Out and available for download from this Apple web page. It may also be available via the Software Update preference panel on the appropriate iBook G4, the 12" 1-GHz and 14" 1.2-GHz models but we do not have one to check. Here is what the update does:

About iBook Graphic Update

This update is recommended for the 12-inch 1GHz, and 14-inch 1.2GHz iBook G4. It updates the graphics driver to fix a compatibility issue that may exist with applications that use OpenGL.

When this update package is downloaded and installed it will replace the old ATIDriver.bundle with a new one.

The installer will guide you through the steps necessary to install the iBook G4 Graphics Update.
