WAPi February General Meeting is Tomorrow--"Computer Security for Mere Mortals."
The meeting topic is "Computer Security for Mere Mortals." Most people buy a computer as an information appliance, for doing E-mail, browsing the Web, organizing pictures, writing letters and other tasks. They don't want to be security experts, yet the past several years have featured a steady deluge of computer security horror stories. This meeting will concentrate on what the average user needs to know for the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of their Macintosh. There really are barbarians out there, but with a few precautions, you can battle them off.
The presentation will be followed by the usual door prize and raffle drawings.
WAPi is the Greater Washington DC AMUG and one of the oldest.
