Apple Pro Tip of the Week--Printing from the Desktop (Without a Desktop Printer Icon)
To do so, mostly just control-click the file to be printed and under "Open with" select the Printer Setup Utility and the file will print. There is a variation for some versions of Mac OS X so check the details on this Apple web page. [Dana Baggett]
