Backup 3.0.1 Update is available for download via Mac OS X's Software Update application if one is a .Mac member and has Backup 3.0 installed. According to the Read Me file,

Backup 3.0.1 addresses file restoration and other issues and is highly recommended for all users of Backup 3.0. Significant areas addressed are:

  • Restoring files to alternate location
  • Accuracy of iDisk progress bar when uploading files

We downloaded and installed copies of Backup 3.0.1 on several different Macs and PowerBooks. Running Backup 3.0.1 resulted in no problems. [Bill Fox]
