Brief Hands-On Report--Camino 1.0b2 Web Browser is Out

and available for download from this Mozilla Web page. Camino is the Mac OS X Cocoa-native Web browser being produced as an open source project from Mozilla. Quite a bit of work has been done between the 1.0 beta 1 release and this 1.0 beta 2 release--here are the release notes.

Camino is finally maturing into a generally useable product, one that we like very much. We downloaded the 1.0b2 version and tried it out for a couple of hours of Web work. It performed without a hitch on the Web pages we tried, including our bank's. [Bill Fox]
