In addition, subsequent to our article, several others appeared on the web claiming confirmation of the probem with Mathematica 5.2 that was first noted in our article posted Tuesday night.

Despite this, Apple's Security Update 2005-007 is still posted for download with no warning about the 64-bit glitch. Fortunately, this issue is likely to affect only a very small number of Tiger users. [Bill Fox]
