From the Dark Side--M$ Sued for Lifting Excel Technology

Microsoft is constantly being sued for allegedly stealing technology. This time it is technology used to connect Excel with Access and the plaintiff is a former Stanford graduate student from Guatemala. According to the CNet article, Microsoft has 35 patent infringement lawsuits agaist it at the moment. Microsoft claims it was already working on the technology when the student showed it to Microsoft. Is Microsoft guilty of innovation by expropriation? Apparently many think so. More... [Bill Fox]
