From the Dark Side--Windows Vista, Mac-like and Insanely Late

Microsoft announced the Beta 1 release of Windows Vista (formerly known as Longhorn or affectionately as "longwait") and made it available to select developers and IT professionals. According to reports, Vista is very Mac-like including drop shadows, transparency, liquid colors, search engine and increased passworded protections similar to Unix and Mac OS X.
