Mozilla 1.5 is Coming Soon, Will Include Java Embedding Plugin for Java 1.4/1.5

According to Mozillazine.org, the next major version of the open source web browser Mozilla 1.5 is nearing completion and a public beta will be released shortly. This new version of Mozilla and subsequent releases of Camino, the Cocoa-native Mac version from the Mozilla Project, will contain the Java Embedding Plugin to run Java Applets from Apple's version of Java v1.4 and 1.5 (also designated as 5.0) licensed from Sun Microsystems. Currently, Mac OS X's Java API allows only Safari to access Java versions higher than 1.3.1 but the Java Embedding Plugin will allow Mozilla and Camino to access Apple's version of Java 1.4 and 1.5.
