Netscape Producing Phishing Resistant Web Browser

Netscape is nearly ready to release a test version of its phishing resistant web browser according to this CNet article. Phishing is the all-to-common internet scam where a fake web page is posted that looks like your bank's or some other trusted web site and one is enticed to enter confidential information on accounts or credit cards. The new browser due out February 17 uses a blacklist approach. If one surfs to a blacklisted web page, the browser notifies the surfer and automatically disables features that the web site exploits.
