Microsoft's Mac BU released Revised Patch for Office v.X for Mac (2006-12-19)

The patch (2006-12-19) is available for download via the "Check for updates" menu item of any Office v.X application or as a stand-alone file from this Microsoft Web page. Here is the ReadMe file on Update (2006-12-19),

This update contains several improvements to enhance stability in PowerPoint.

The improvements for PowerPoint X is:

3.1.1 Stability is improved--This update fixes an issue that causes PowerPoint to quit unexpectedly when you open a presentation.

The updated files are:

Microsoft PowerPoint 10.1.9 (061018)
MS OLE Library (Carbon) 10.1.9 (061213)
MS Structured Storage (Carbon) 10.1.9 (061213)

Again, these are the same files that were updated by the errant 10.1.9 updater. [Bill Fox]
