Mozilla Released SeaMonkey 1.0, Its New Internet Application Suite

Mozilla replaced its Mozilla Suite 1.7 with SeaMonkey 1.0 and it is available for download from this Mozilla Web site. SeaMonkey 1.0 is essentially Mozilla 1.8, an integrated internet suite consisting of a Web browser, email client, web composer and IRC chat client. Here are the release notes.

We downloaded a copy and it appeared to work fine during several hours use. For those who prefer an integrated internet application suite rather than a series of stand-alone applications, SeaMonkey is well worth exploring. [Dana Baggett]
