New "Kamas" Stand for Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook is Shipping with Heat Sink and Thermal Pad
The finest professional stand made for PowerBooks is now available for the MacBook Pro and MacBook. The completely re-designed Kamas stand from Power Support of Japan has an adjustable ledge that allows a CD/DVD disc to be inserted while on the stand and fits all models of Apple's MacBook Pro (15" and 17"--shown at right) and MacBook. It also fits all sizes of PowerBook G4's and iBook G4s and G3s. If you change models of MacBook Pro, you no longer need a new stand.
The ledge which holds the lower front edge of the 'Book is now covered with a silicone rubber insert to grip the 'Book and to prevent any scratching or marring of its finish.
The new Kamas (PSK-11) stand has a special built-in "-4o" finned heat sink and thermal pad for broader and better heat dissipation.
The angle of the platform is adjustable from level to an angle that allows for maximum screen tilt while maintaining an appropriate viewing angle. One can store a keyboard under the 'Book as well (see below for MacBook).
