PocketMac SecureNotes (Universal) is Out

Information Appliance Associates released a new application called PocketMac SecureNotes, claiming that it is the first ever software tool to act as a safe deposit box for Macintosh users' data.

"Whether it's a credit card, a banana bread recipe, a home movie, a web page or an industry secret, PocketMac SecureNotes will make sure no one sees your data unless you want it seen," said Terence Goggin, CTO of Information Appliance Associates. "This product uses 448-bit encryption to make sure no data gets out of this safe deposit box."

PocketMac SecureNotes is a database-driven tool which allows Mac users to store all types of data from bank account numbers, movies, pictures, code snippets and much more. The program is an airtight lockbox where Mac users' data will be stored safely without an issue. It was tested for over 9 months.

PocketMac SecureNotes retails for $29.95 and is available as a Universal Binary for both Power PC and Intel Macs. It is also available as a 15 day free trial. [Bill Fox]
