Apple's Jonathan Ive won Cooper-Hewitt's 2007 National Design Award for Product Design
The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum presents design awards each year. For 2007, they awarded the top prize in product design to Apple's design chief, Jonathan Ive.
"Jonathan Ive's streamlined design aesthetic, combined with a strong knowledge of the engineering process, has brought design into the public consciousness in an unprecedented way," the museum stated.
