Cool Mac Software--Mactracker 5.0 is Out

Mactracker 5.0 is now available for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later. It contains detailed information on virtually every product Apple has ever produced. This is a piece of donationware that every Macophile should have. To download it visit the Mactracker Web site or select "Check for Updates" within Mactracker or visit MacUpdate.com.

The more significant additions are the latest Apple hardware, support for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), numerous user interface improvements, a model's introduction price (in four currencies), iCal integration for tracking warranty status for "My Mac model" entries, a new update engine based on Sparkle, and the ability to search for additional specification items directly from the main window.

Smaller changes range from the ability to copy text from info windows to the ability to re-order "Smart Categories" from the "View Options" window.
