Parallels released the third release candidate for v2.5 of Desktop for Mac (Build 3170). It is available via MacUpdate.com. Desktop for Mac allows an Intel-based Mac to run various Windows operating systems in a window on Mac os X 10.4.x (Tiger).

We downloaded Build 3170, uninstalled Build 3150 and installed Build 3170. Then, we downloaded and installed all of the accrued updates for our Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista RC1 virtual machines. No problems were encountered during the process nor during brief use of both virtual machines. [Bill Fox]
