MacUpdate offers Free Ad Blocking for Registered Members
MacUpdate has decided to open up its site and allow free non-paying Members the ability to turn off all banner ads on the site. Before, eliminating ads was part of a $20 per year subscription service.
In an effort to build a community and better connect users with developers, MacUpdate has moved the ad blocking feature so that all people who create a paid or free account can turn off ads. [Bill Fox]
