Safari 3 Public Beta Widget Issues--Use Uninstaller

We've encountered no problems surfing Web sites with Safari 3 Public Beta released on Monday but three of our widgets no longer work--Gas Prices, Package Tracker and AirTraffic Control. They are the latest editions so we will have to wait for the developers to update them.

Since we use these widgets regularly, especially Package Tracker, we used the Uninstaller that came with Safari 3 PB to re-install Safari 2.0.4. It worked fine and we can confirm that the three widgets work again.

If and when the widgets are updated for the changes to Mac OS X's WebKit framework installed by Safari 3 PB, we'll re-install it for its speed and ability to move tabs. [Bill Fox & Dana Baggett]
