Tonight on The Tech Night Owl LIVE--AAC vs Original CD, No DRM Music and Data Backup

Tonight, host Gene Steinberg guides you into "The David Biedny Zone," as his Special Correspondent returns to put his "golden ears" to the test and check the quality of AAC music files versus the original CD. In addition, noted author and commentator Kirk McElhearn will provide a down-to-earth assessment of the meaning of the agreement between Apple and EMI to sell music without DRM and to offer higher quality downloads. Kirk will also provide his own listening test results. You'll also hear from Prosoft Engineering's Greg Brewer about their newest version of Data Backup, and the rest of their growing product line. You can tune into the live Web broadcast tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Pacific, 9:00 to 11:00 PM Eastern.
